Fencing Security Ratings
High-security fencing with Security Ratings (SR) are available.
SR ratings grade a system’s physical resistance to forced entry. Set by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) under standard LPS 1175, ratings range from SR1 (basic 1-minute delay against opportunists) to SR5+ (over 10 minutes against heavy tools).

The rules on fencing height are part of local planning policy. You will need to contact your local authority planning office. Most fences on a public highway boundary can be a maximum of 2.0m high.
